Winning the World Team Championships in Sheffield in 2000
Reaching the Final of the British Open
Reaching the Final of the US Open
Winning the silver medal at the 2002 Commonwealth games in Manchester
Losing the World Teams Final in Denmark in 2002
Being laid low for 8 months in 2003 with the epstein virus.
Having to pull out of the england team for the european champs this year and not being able to compete in the british open.
I am currently learning french
I love taking pictures and my digital camera comes everywhere with me
I do a lot of walking and biking
I watch football whenever I can and follow both Manchester United and Peterborough United
I do weights sessions 3 times a week when not in tournments
At the gym I do 20 minutes on the rower, bike and cross trainer
I do hill sprints and track work in the summer
I play a lot of practice squash matches in the days running up to a tournment
I spent much of my training on court on my own ghosting around the court. I work on both my endurance and speed during these sessions
I also have a couple of sessions per week with the english national coaches at Manchester and Potters Bar and technical sessions with other experts such as a sports psychologists to work on the mental side of my game and notational analysts to work on my tactics and gameplans.
